Getting the early weeks right makes everything easier. My approach isn't about drilling commands — it's about helping your puppy feel safe, settled and ready to learn, so that good behaviour develops naturally rather than having to be constantly managed.

Just brought your puppy home? You don't have to wait.
This 90-minute home visit is designed for brand new puppy owners — available from 8 weeks with no vaccination requirements. We cover the real, practical stuff that matters most in those first overwhelming weeks, in the environment where your puppy actually lives.
We'll work through:
Toilet training and settling routines
Puppy biting and mouthing
Safe interaction with children
What to expect in the first few weeks
Simple early foundations to get you started on the right foot
You'll finish the session with a clear, simple plan for the days and weeks ahead.

Puppy Foundation Classes
Small, friendly group classes for puppies aged 8 weeks to 6 months. Every class is fulfilment-led and force-free — no shouting, no yanking, no dominance. Just calm, positive learning in a social environment that sets your puppy up for life.
Classes run at two locations:
Chislehurst Church Hall
Indoor venue — ideal for year-round attendance
£140 for the full course
High Elms Country Park, Orpington
Outdoor setting in beautiful parkland — brilliant for socialisation and real-world skills
£165 for the full course
Both courses cover: focus and attention, sit, down, stay, recall, loose lead walking, handling and grooming, impulse control, and calm settle behaviour.
Maximum 4 puppies per class. Places fill quickly.
At Home Puppy Course — 1:1 Alternative to Classes
If group classes aren't the right fit, the At Home Puppy Course brings everything to you. Four personalised one-to-one sessions covering the full content of my puppy programme, delivered in your own home at times that suit your schedule.
This works particularly well for:
Puppies who benefit from a quieter learning environment
Owners who prefer individual attention and a flexible schedule
Families who haven't yet completed the vaccination programme and want to get started straight away
