Puppy Classes in Chislehurst

Aspire Dog Training runs small-group puppy classes at Chislehurst Church Hall on Friday evenings — enrichment-led, force-free and deliberately kept small.

I'm John, an ABTC registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI). These classes are designed for puppy owners who want more than a standard obedience course — owners who want to understand their puppy, not just manage them.

About the Chislehurst Puppy Classes

  • Location: Chislehurst Church Hall

  • Day: Friday evenings — 6:30pm or 7:40pm

  • Duration: Five weeks

  • Group size: Small — kept deliberately limited

  • Age: Puppies from 8 weeks to early adolescence

What We Cover

Each week builds on the last, covering the foundations every puppy needs:

  • Controlled socialisation in a calm, supportive environment

  • Settle and impulse control

  • Sit, down, stay, leave it and drop

  • Early loose lead walking and recall groundwork

  • Enrichment activities including find it, retrieve games and tug

  • Puppy biting, jumping up and common puppy challenges

Why These Classes Are Different

Class sizes are kept small because puppies learn better when they're not overwhelmed. The environment is calm and low-pressure. And rather than just teaching commands, we focus on why behaviours happen and what your puppy actually needs — because when those needs are met, training becomes something your puppy actively enjoys.

Recommended by local veterinary practices in the Chislehurst and Bromley area.

Who These Classes Are For

Puppies who are excitable, sensitive, easily distracted or simply brand new — and owners who want to get it right from the start. If you're not sure whether your puppy is ready, just get in touch before booking.
